How to create your Strategic Survey

When crafting your Strategic survey, it's crucial to follow this guideline to ensure accuracy and effectiveness: 

 

  1. Why Strategic Survey:

  • Utilize Strategic Survey for Dashboard display of results and for feature “Take Action Flow” functionality. 

  1. Types of Questions:

  • Use rating questions on a scale of 1-10, avoiding reverse questions. Please note only scale 1-10 is possible 

  • Use open text questions, a combination of rating and open text is possible. 

  1. Descriptions:

  • In the section description make sure to describe the type of question.
    Our recommendation is rating questions:
    “1 (strongly disagree) 10 (strongly agree)”
    in open text questions:
    “Please elaborate your response” 

  1. Number of Questions:

  • Our recommendation is to limit surveys to 6-10 questions for higher participation rates. 

  1. Dimensions and Subdimensions:

  • Dimensions categorize questions for overview and scoring. 

  • Subdimensions provide further categorization for detailed analysis. 

   Our recommendation: 

  • Choose names that reflect the grouping logic for clarity. 

  • Example of two Dimensions and its Subdimensions (you can create as many Dimensions and Subdimensions as you need) 

Dimension 1: Leadership 

Subdimension 1:Engagement 
Subdimension 2: Supportiveness 

Etc. 

Dimension 2: Organization 

Subdimension 1: Recognition 

Etc. 

  1. Translations:

  • Make sure to provide the translations for the languages your users will use. If not, only the language provided will be available. Available languages are English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

Results 

Report Structure includes 

Overview: 

  • participation rate, survey dates, and the survey scale. 

Comparative Analysis: 

  • Circles with Dimensions and Subdimensions for insights. 

Annex: 

  • All questions and scores at the company circle level. 

 

Q&A: 

How can I upload the questions on the platform?  

Contact Customer Success to upload the final survey version under the "Launch" tab. Questions must be submitted at least one week before launch. 

Can I edit the survey once it is uploaded on the platform? 

Only Customer Success can edit the survey. Note that editing may affect the launch date.
