Your Onboarding Guide to the atwork Platform

Welcome to atwork! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started smoothly—from your first login to navigating your dashboard and understanding the basic rules of the platform.

1. Accessing Your Account

Login

You will receive an invitation email from atwork with your login link.
Click the link to set your password and access your workspace.

User Roles

Depending on your permission level, you may have access to different features:

  1. Magenta– Full permissions: surveys, data, user management, performance, insights

  2. Aqua – View survey results for assigned circles/teams, manage actions

  3. Yellow – Answer surveys

2. Platform Structure

The atwork platform is built around three core areas:

Your First Steps on the Platform

Step 1: Explore your Dashboard

The dashboard shows:

  • All active and completed surveys

  • Participation rates

  • Status indicators

  • Access to detailed results

  • Export options (PDF / Excel)

  • Comparison of Previous Launched Surveys

Step 2: Review Survey Results

Click on any survey to open:

  • Health Indicators

  • HR KPIs

  • Impact Table

  • Team/Circle comparisons

  • Heatmaps

  • Comments & distributions

Use filters to drill down by:

  • Circles / teams

  • Demographics

  • Locations

  • Time periods

Step 3: Create Your First Action

Inside the Impact Table:

  1. Select a subdimension

  2. Review the insights

  3. Click “Create Action Plan”

  4. Assign it to a responsible person

  5. Track progress over time


4. Rules & Data Protection

Data Privacy

  • Individual responses are anonymous unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Results are only shown if visibility thresholds are met (minimum group size).

  • No one can view single-person answers in rating questions.

Role-based Access

Each user only sees what their role allows.
Admins can grant or remove permissions.

Exports

Only authorized roles can download PDF or Excel files containing aggregated results.


5. Best Practices for a Successful Start

✔ Start with the Company Health Check

It provides a complete overview of your organizational health and identifies the biggest impact areas.

✔ Review your top strengths and improvement areas

Let the dashboard guide you to the areas that need attention.

✔ Use the Impact Table to prioritize actions

It shows where your efforts will deliver the strongest measurable improvements.

✔ Align actions with your leadership team

Collaborative action planning strengthens accountability and follow-through.

✔ Monitor progress

Use the comparison and trend views to track changes over time.
