# Understanding and Using Performance Surveys

Performance Surveys help organizations collect structured feedback on employee performance. They can include input from managers, peers, and employees themselves, and are designed to evaluate how well employees meet job expectations and contribute to business goals.

### 1. What Are Performance Surveys?

Performance Surveys gather feedback on employee performance and development. They support a variety of review formats and can involve different groups of participants.

#### Common Types of Performance Surveys

- **360°, 180°, or 90° Feedback** – Feedback from multiple sources (peers, reports, managers) to provide a well-rounded view.
- **Self-Assessments** – Employees evaluate their own performance.
- **Team/Peer Reviews** – Focus on collaboration and team dynamics.
- **Onboarding Surveys** – New hires share feedback on their early experiences, training quality, and role clarity.
