# How to upload demographic options

## The Bulk upload functionality allows administrators to upload multiple demographic options at once. This helps simplify the management of demographics that contain a large number of selectable options.

For demographics that include options, a **“Bulk upload”** button is available at the top of the page. This option guides users through a short process to upload several demographic options in a single step instead of adding them manually one by one.

### How to upload demographic options

1. Navigate to the **Demographics** section of the platform.
2. Select the demographic you want to manage.
3. Click the **Bulk upload** button at the top of the page.
4. Download and complete the **Excel template** provided in the upload flow.
5. Upload the completed file.
6. Review the preview and confirm the upload.

Once confirmed, the platform will create the valid options included in the file.

### Important notes

- Bulk upload is **limited to options for one demographic at a time**.
- **All language columns in the Excel template must be completed.** Each demographic option must include translations for all languages configured in the platform.
- This functionality is **not available for Seniority and Age**, as these demographics are managed using **ranges rather than individual options**.
